Lists

Lists are how you group subscribers. A subscriber can belong to multiple lists, and you send campaigns to one or more lists at a time.

List types

Creating a list

  1. Go to Lists in the left sidebar.
  2. Click New list.
  3. Give the list a name and choose a type (Public or Private).
  4. Optionally add a description.
  5. Click Save.

Adding subscribers to a list

  • Individually — open a subscriber's profile and tick the list under Lists.
  • On import — select the list during the CSV import flow.
  • In bulk — on the Subscribers page, filter to the contacts you want, select them all, then use Manage lists.

Removing subscribers from a list

Open the subscriber's profile, untick the list, and save. This doesn't delete the subscriber — they remain in the system and can be on other lists.

Deleting a list

Go to Lists, click the three-dot menu on the list, and choose Delete. Subscribers in that list are not deleted — they stay in the system.

caution

Deleting a list cannot be undone. Any campaigns that were sent to that list will still show in history, but the list itself will be gone.
